Every time I go to California I try to buy a coool old car to drive around while I´m there and ship it back home by the end of the trip!
This time the car of our choice was this nice lady owned , garage kept 66convertible! The car will be shipped back after my trip and is gonna be lowered and rimmed if nobody buys it!
The next cool car that came up to buy was this unbelievable 1970 deluxe in it´s original paint!
This cool machine is all complete and a driver! No rust anywhere! It´s for sale!

If you look close you can see where Max is planning to go next week!
There are only about 5or 6 double door 23windows known to have survived!
One of them was imported from California just to be sold .....
The funny thing is that everything that went away during the time when the dollar was strong now comes back in masses!
I ´m still in the engine departement trying to finish one more motor! This time a type4! I don´t like them too much! This special POS (piece of sh..!) I´m working on is said being built by the race departement of TOYOTA!
We got the engine with 3000km under it´s belt but totally fried!
Why would you put in tecnology in a type 4 with piston bottom cooling and race material bolts when you put on a stock 411 exhaust with heat exchangers to loose the hard and expensive gained horse power so cheaply?
That is only one of many questions that came up during the rebuilt!
Special rods with oil galleys for the piston bottoms to get some cooling!
Check out the lightweight nuts! I had to buy a special tool for them!
Kevin (or Seppl as his friends call him) is on the fastback finishing the body work on the front!
A late model inner wing made from an early inner wing! Don´t try this at home!
A small hole is left on the passengers side!
It is soon going to be filled with some sheet metal from a donor 65 1500S! This one is for Freddy!
The 63 23 Window Samba came back from the sandblaster 2 weeks ago already primered in the right colors! The roof doesnt need to be welded so it´s been primered in white 2K. The rest of the body needs extensive work that is why it´s in the much cheaper red 1stage welding primer!
The same year ,corner windows ,same color combination, same interior but a big money difference because of the roof!
Last week I found the missing matching year middle seat !
When Jörgi-Jörg came into play this week things got busy and the Samba on the lift!
New chassis sections...,
...can only be put in properly when you built a special help frame on the car bench!
The SAMBA will get a completely new body from the belt line down!
It was the 40´s birthday for the President on friday last week and we decided to buy him some useable tooling!
The shop of our choice is right on mainstreet in Weiden across the street from the busiest Burger King in town!
It seem that my employees wanted to do some advertising for our company!
